Riserva Cannonau di Sardegna

Soft and slightly jammy. Gamey on the nose, with silky tannins, ripe berries, and nice minerality.

Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva 2008, 14%. Toasted and woozy scents, a little disappointing. In the mouth the tannins are a not refined, with not too much persistence. 86/100

2010. Good with leftovers. Not overly complex. A tad raisiny. Some hints of menthol, good acidity, and relatively well integrated alcohol. Drinks at or around its price point.

Very pleasant, but not as rich as I had expected. Perhaps should have not as aged quite so much.

Grape- Grenache. Tannins- medium Fruit- red, not prominent Spice- pepper at the end

I've had a few of these. Still pretty new to italian wine so all I gotta say here is value! Coming from a French lover.
