Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Sangiovese

So good. Paired with a burger and the bottle was gone on a snap.

Excellent value and beautiful wine

Man, I really liked this. Vino Nobile is becoming my jam. This has a nose that screamed "forest," almost like crushed berries in underbrush. Herbs came to the forefront with air - basil and rosemary of all things. Silky texture, nice acid, flavors of red cherries, cedar, mushrooms, and a bit of potpourri in the background. This is a winner.

Beginning to take on tertiary aromas. Still has pretty firm tannin. All the brightness of Sangiovese with the darker, earthier character of the Montepulciano area. Velvety. Neither lush nor shrill. Delightful.

Bright fruit, evenly acidic.

Young but with excellent potential once it loses its baby fat. Rich and fruity, good depth.

Love to see Montepulciano that is this expressive. Nose shows rich dark fruits, a hint of raisin almost. Pine, fennel, grilled meat, clay, leather, perfume. More dried fruits on the palate with plenty on that resinous earthy tone. Tannins are really refined and balanced but a plush acidity. Beautiful wine for the money
