Really an interesting wine… some flavors that are quite unique though it does seem to be a little too odd for regular enjoyment. Ruby color. Some aromatics of ginger and anise, not a ton of fruit, but where there is it’s red. Quite smooth, medium bodied and low acidity. Lots of spice and some salinity. Little aging potential.

Very good with food. A good amount of tannin. Very tart berries and cherry. Some anise, white pepper, some earth, herbs. Pretty unique and definitely not something I’ve had before. There’s more dark and dried like fruits coming through. It’s like Beaujolais meets barbera meets petite Syrah. Interesting.
