Il Vino Dal Tralcetto Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

This is a decent food-friendly, smooth-drinking red blend. There’s red currants up front and a bit of dusty coffee to the finish.

Brambly wild fruit, molasses, cherry syrup, vanilla, blood orange and nice acid. Finish is long and silky. Really good with lasagna :)

Cherries lead on the fruity nose. Leaner, restrained and food friendly on the palate. Soft tannins, great acidic zip for pasta lovers, and a light finish.

Very drinkable. Dry yet a little fruity. Great with a steak

Classic Montepulciano D'Abbruzzo with bitter cherry, smoke, hinting at ripe (still low alc.), zesty acidity, and a baby bit of earth. Lowered rating for a little wet dog hair funk/skunkiness that came out on nose after open for a couple of hours.

Had this wine with home made pasta listening to Pavoretti.

Had with chili and paired well. Dry with decent tannins. Would have again.

Very good all around wine. Slight acidity and earthy flavor.
