Stone fruit. Mineral- wet, clean rock. Round. Hot weather wine. Not astringent- refreshing. Lithe enough to pair with berries/ strength to hold up to grilled seafood. Clarinet. Convertible. Cirque de Soleil

Feb 13th, 2018Barely ripe pear, river stone, peach pit. Very dry with only a hint of fruit. Refreshing. I'm usually an oaky buttery autumn lover. This isn't that. It begs for the perfect cheese and crusty bread- grilled fish- or shellfish. It's subtle. Classical music- a flute solo. Birdsong. Porch chimes. It's more velvet than wicker but not so much roaring fire.
