Tried this one again. Consistent notes, did not improve: Ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits and sweet spices. On the palate, this medium body wine shows flavors of strawberry and tart cherry with heavy spice. Tannins are grainy ending with some mineral edges. Ok for $10. Tasting Sample.

Oct 23rd, 2016Hearty and peppery...paired well with baked ziti with spicy sausage meatballs. I could also see this going well with supreme pizza. For the price, it's a steal, but my wife didn't like it. She said it "smells funny."

$8.99. This is a very complex Italian wine...hard to describe and never tasted anything quite like it. A little fruit forward. At first wasn't sure about it but as it sat for a while it definitely improved. Was actually even better the second evening. good value for the money. WILL BUY AGAIN.
