Le Roselle Ripasso della Valpolicella Classico Superiore Corvina Blend

Sour. Tannic. Bitter. Not fun. I expect more out of a Ripasso.

Azzuri may have lost their game today but at least we had some good Ripasso to drown our Italian sorrows tonight.

Tried these two Ripassos side by side, honestly I can't remember which one was better, just remember I liked both of them

Full bodied, mature-esque wine. Balanced; with heavy notes of cherries, but with pepper notes. Great table wine. Paired well with pizza.

Typically drink a heavier/earthier red but this was a nice smooth change of pace.

Very easy drinking, delicious

Creme brulei (sp), vanilla

More earthy, but still nice. WBA

Very nice ripasso.
