Santa Maddalena Alto Adige Schiava Lagrein

Light, bright, nice red for a summer lunch. Fruity with a soft, but fleeting finish.

Schiava is really growing on me. Crisp bright fruit and herby bits. It has some Lagrein blended in.

Slightly bitter. Acidic. Medium body that seems like a good fit for food. Dry cherry palate and a hint of forest floor. Not a long finish.
