More open knit than the Sassella, total deliciousness and high toned elegance

Beautiful wine, cherry, black tea, soil and floral tones, soft and generous for a Valtellina nebbiolo, a bit overshadowed by the more structured Sassella bottling

Felt a little shutdown at the moment. Good wine but needs another 5 to come around.

Very much in the tart and tangy register at the moment, this could perhaps develop some more dimension with time.

I am not sure if this bottle was not stored properly or just over the hill. A subdued nose that needed tons of air & coaxing but really never gave you what one expects from this producer. The palate very Italian, acid and structure, but flavors appeared muted & clenched rather than held back. Disappointing given what this producer is capable of.

Excellent. Smoke, cherry, and a redwood forest like note. Super soft but present tannins and acid is still bright. Very grateful for this one.

Incredible Nebbiolo with 70 day maceration with many years on ISO. It's a Burgundian lovers Nebbiolo with aromas of spice, smoke, fireplace, and velvet. Love it.

Pretty fragrant with just the right amount of fruit. Could be an 01 griottes Chambertin. Thanks to Alex at Babbo.

Chestnuts! Tart attack leads to musty, earthy, forest floor notes. Silky, dry, gentle tannins. Feels at its peak.

Improved on day 3. Continuing to reveal herbal/citrus peel notes. Really lovely.
