I had worried about the age, but it was excellent! Yes, aged character but not dominant. There was ample fruit. Delicious.

Red fruits pop, especially currants. The freshness of hay and earthiness of woods and tabacco come through to smooth. Round and dry. Well structured. Warm.

2011. Bought off the list. Nebbiolo outside the Piedmonte. DOCG from the region. Lovely nose. Very approachable. Could do another bottle of that!
