Blend of Sangiovese (90%), Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) and Merlot (5%). Medium ruby color with a slight pink rim. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, leather, dried purple flowers, dried herbs and forest floor. Flavors of black cherry, tobacco, dark plums, mushrooms, earthy spices, black currants and those dried herbs. Long lasting finish. Plentiful acidity. Medium-plus body and gritty tannins. Extremely savory and super rustic. Best with food and a decant. Revisited in February 2026. Still quite rustic and savory. Thanks Keith S!
