Very jammy, blackberry and raspberry compote throughout. Plenty of vanilla as well. Oaky fruit bomb, wish this had more spicy complexity I love from the grape. Quite sweet, hot as well, drinkable but not distinguished from the sea of sub-par cali zins.

Very fruit forward, juicy a little jammy but just right. Spicy little notes at the end. I liked this one a lot and look forward to returning to the winery.

Probably The spiciest Zin I've ever tried. Actually the spice is a little overpowering on day one but by day 2 it has mellowed to a perfect blend of pepper and allspice. Notes of dark berry on the front.

Good and no surprises. I would like more jammy fruit richness but the Lodi regions pedigree for this varietal is evident throughout.

A very fruit-forward and incredibly smooth Zin from one of my favorite wineries - Hope Family.
