Can Ramon
Clos Lentiscus Perill Blanc Xarello
I know in my mathematical brain that this wine is very well-executed and objectively "good" yet given my own personal preferences I can't slide the rating any higher. Very mineral driven, essentially no fruit, so much lees you could call this wine Lees Palace. Marine-like salinity that makes me think I could introduce this to Muscadet and they'd either be fast friends or quick enemies, as similar people often are. Acidity was on the higher end but not possessive. Lengthy finish. Very satisfying texture. This needs a bit of time and space to liven up. If you like bread and sea rocks this is your guy. 🍞🌊
