Actually a really pleasing and interesting example of Garnacha that offers a gratifying study of the grape on Spanish soil. Light- to medium-bodied, with gentle tannins but enough acidity to keep it lively. Would buy again at £7/btl & surely one of the best supermarket / high street Spanish reds.

Extra points for value. Tasty on opening with strawberries raspberries cinnamon and a touch of clove spiciness. Medium bodied with a short finish. Good pairing with chicken chili tonight.
