The story behind this wine bumped is rating up, but it was spectacular. My first birth year wine and it didn't disappoint. Fruit was still incredibly fresh and vibrant, acid was still ripping, and secondary flavors were still subdued. Still has a lot of life left!

Morello cherry juice, roasted nuts from the oxidation, appealing but needs time to breathe. Big time sediment, must decant.

Cherry cola, eucalyptus, tar, dried tobacco, soy sauce, vitamins, graphite, crushed red roses, jerky. Well rounded yet fresh acidity, minimal smooth velvet tannins, featherweight silky texture, medium bodied. Very long complex, smoky, earthy, spicy, savory finish. Lots of sediment, decanting strongly recommended. Aromatics evolved through the course of 2 hours.
