La Part Davant Jurançon Sec Gros Manseng-Petit Manseng Blend
Jurançon, Southwest France, France
Gorgeous wine that hangs in the balance between the darker flavors of oxidation and the bright freshness of youth. Tobacco leaf and lemon rind , wet stone and candle wax.

Hmmm - Garagiste's humidor comparison may be a bit far fetched - ok wine ... Better as it warmed up - some star fruit and smoked fish qualities

May 6th, 2013This wine has improved with aging so that it is now a medium to deep yellow with a lovely citrus nose & a medium to full body that is complex with lovely citrus (Lemon & mango?) accents & a long, complex aftertaste. A bargain for the money, especially if aged in a cool cellar. 92-93 points
