Flavors of red and black cherries and plums, baking spices, tobacco and dark chocolate. Medium length and tannins. Full bodied and quite rustic. Moderate acidity. Better with food. Flavors of concentrated red and black cherries/raspberries, blackberries, baker’s chocolate and savory spices. Very earthy (slightly sour) medium finish. Not much of a mid-palate. Moderate acidity and medium tannins. Full bodied, bone dry and very rustic. Improved with aeration. Sub-$20 price point.
