Deep hot vintage colour, intense core; a compacted ungiving bouquet of ripe fruit and meat, true torrefaction; palate solid like a brick. By no means out of condition, simply lacking in charm and expression. I expected more however 47 was a very VERY hot year and this is an example of where the heat could not b overcome.
