Terre de Feu Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon

Supple on the palate considering its youthfulness. Lots of coffee, mocha, chocolate, and vanilla character from the oak, but doesn’t get overbearing. Typical ripe black fruit. Sits at 14.5% alcohol. However, you don’t feel the weight. Well made for sure, but nothing unique.

A nice medium bodied Cabernet, this wine is on the oaky side but opens up with a bit of decanting. The predominant flavors are cherry and oak, with bright acidity.

Mellow blackberries and raspberries, along with a musty, earthy smell on the nose and palate. Not a very old Cab Sauv but tannins that we’re softer, not yet a full velvet but close.

Ripe fruit, juicy and full bodied, medium tannins but smooth with a pleasantly lingering finish.

A prodigy of NakedWines. Smooth. Drinkable. 2017 is a good year.

2015 Was ok, mild tannins, oak and berry flavors. Like a bit more depth for a Cabernet.

Oaky and earthy, but smooth enough to drink by itself
