I have finally decided to try this $24 Cameron Hughes. On the nose I am getting blackberries, cherries, leather, hints of smoke and minerality. At first sip the blackberries come to the for front, black currant, and the tannin is smooth and blended. The finish is medium with an earthy soul. Not bad at all and I feel this wine can have a few more years to mature but drinkable now.

Oct 11th, 2013After some aeration time, this cab delivered a burst of flavor. Dry. Would compliment a filet quite well. Notes of citrus, cashew, leather, tobacco, cherry, and raspberry. Had this bottle laid down for approximately 4 years. Would recommend uncorking soon!!
