2013 vintage which I found to be better than expected. Blended a bit strong this paired well with the steak dinner grilled outside without being too dry or overpowering. All in all this is a keeper for when you need a cheaper wine for that larger gathering.

Deep berry flavors -- cherry, blackberry, and a hint of strawberry. Mostly-dry. Medium tannins. Slightly spicy. #brightcellars

Aromas flat, not complex. Too bright, metallic on the back. Might need time to mature. Bitterness at the end.

Too obvious, 14.4%, wonder if there's enough acid to countermand the obvious fruit.
