Fond memories of harvest. Total earth bomb. Dark cherry, tobacco and tar on the nose. Wonderful texture on the palate - pure silk. The earthiness emerges with cherry, currant and a certain gaminess - I'm thinking lamb. Fantastic finish - lingers 40 seconds and leaves you wanting more.

Smooth and silky from the get-go and just slightly hot. Nose blossoms into dark cherry and a top note of spice with a little waft of game. Good acidity. This reminds me of a Bourgogne Rouge from a very ripe year. Wouldn’t put it into 1er cru territory with regards to complexity or weight.
