Coming from VA I have tried lots of east coast Viognier and French. Such a great CA Viognier. Honey and melon and bees wax notes.

Seminal summer wine. For real. Almonds, apricot and crushed violet in the nose, complimented with minerals and round citrus in the mouth. I could subsist on the finish alone, but then the bottle would go bad. There's a reason Calera is my favorite domestic vintner.
