Calcareous
Carver Vineyard Pinot Noir

Bright Ruby with aromas red berry fruits and spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with vanilla notes, oak and earthy spice. Gripping dusty tannins on a nedium finish ending a bit savory.

Didn’t love it. Very fruity. Too young to drink. Improved with food.

Dec 15th, 2020Opened for 30 minutes before drinking. If you prefer cabs etc and want to try a pinot, this is a good option. Full body. Red fruit, dill, cedar, and touches of vanilla. Slightly higher acidity than a typical California pinot but in a good way.

Better of the Pinots in Paso area. York Mountain cool air helps. Bigger Pinot and more structured than most.
