A big thanks to Calabria for sending this Three Bridges 2016 Chardonnay from Tumbarumba in NSW over to try. I was making butter chicken, raita, pilaf and naans from scratch for dinner that night so it was perfect timing!
Emma Norbiato of Calabria won Winemaker of the Year in the 2016 Australia Women in Wine Awards so it's safe to say she's well respected for making fabulous wines around the country. I hear she's also a bit of a Chardy girl so I couldn't wait to try this tipple...
Lemon lime colour on the eye with florals, apples and hints of melon on the nose. The palate is crisp and silky with ripe fruits and grapefruit acidity standing out for me. It complimented a night of home-cooking wonderfully! RRP $23.

This 2015 Chardy is a shimmery yellow our on the eye. Tropical fruits, vanilla bean and whiffs of fresh Spring air rise from the glass to entice the palate. Candied tropical fruits and bites of citrus fruit fill the palate and it rounds out into a nice smooth finish. Chardonnay I ❤️you!
