Calabria make some absolutely delectable wines and this Three Bridges 2015 #BarossaValley Shiraz is no exception. This is the latest vintage release that retails for approximately $25. A perfect accompaniment to lamb shanks FYI!
It's a deep red violet colour on the eye. On the nose it's full of plums and has a fiery warmth to it. Mr. Spittoon thought it was reminiscent of a creamy mustard sauce - it did have a bit of a bitey edge to it on the whiffer! It's super smooth and plump on the palate with grippy tannins and acidity, ending with an everlasting finish. Highly enjoyable!

Dark fruits and cola on the nose. Blueberry, Blackberry and eucalyptus on the pallet. Good balance and great value. Pleasant.
