This bottle had mostly straightforward strawberry and chalky minerals, I liked the body and oily texture, perfect w mid rare pork chops.

Cranberry rosé...very very very good. Belmont butchery purchase :) Pairs well with Pimento cheese, chilly walks and ticket to ride.

木苺、チェリー、フランボワーズ、イチゴミルク感、バラの香りも。
華やかさ薄旨さと、チャーミングさ。還元や揮発もなくこのビンテージもすごい!
ピーマンや、大根のツマともペアリングする便利さも○

A fav etna rosato, plenty serious for $20. It’s very reductive and shined brightest on day two, but rewards with textural seabreeze and complex minerality. Once it comes together, quite balanced. More cherry red in hue than last vintage, but the taste/texture was consistent w my mem of the 18. For whatever reason, many nerello rosatos strike me as overdone—too boozy and sweet to be refreshing—or kinda boring/lifeless on the palette. Calabretta thankfully avoids these pitfall. Got on 18 left in the cellar, would be curious about a side by side....
