Now that I'm back in China it's time to explore wines available in the middle kingdom in hopes of finding a really good Chinese wine. Wine is available almost anywhere in China from the local convenience store to high end wine shops and just about every restaurant.
This bottle was a cheap purchase at Walmart so low expectations.
Fairly dark ruby color with a little smell of almonds.
Very acidic and sour with a touch of spice and long finish which seems to rest at the base of the tongue. Pretty unremarkable table wine I wouldn't want to serve.
