Very bold, dark and dry red. Perfect paired with red meats like venison, buffalo, or other game or good cuts of beef. Too heavy for anything lighter than red meat.

Off putting overripe prune flavors. Served slightly warmer than cellar temp at the new tasting room in Old Town Scottsdale, which made matters worse. Had to refuse it after a taste.

This wine paired really well with my beef short ribs. Definitely a hearty wine best paired with red meat. Very drinkable not too dry.... I'm no wine expert. I just know what I like. Half the fun is finding the right food to pair with it..I love the slight dryness with my short ribs, veggies and mashed potatoes.

Really enjoyed this - Caduceus has really become my go to vineyard when I'm feeling like spending a little extra.
