2011 opened Jan 2017. Smoooooooooth! Soft mouth feel. Lots of spicy high notes in the bouquet. Ripe fruit, cherries on the front palette. Soft buttery tannins all the way down after that.

The wine had creeped up the cork a bit on this one. Quite a nice nose, dark fruit with some spice to it. Fantastic blend. You can taste the Cab Franc base, very smooth with some pepper undertones. A lot of character to this wine. Going to hold on to my second bottle for a bit longer.

35% Cab Franc, 29% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot 18% Petit Verdot. Lovely Red Mountain Bordeaux blend. Elegant, but loads of tannin. Excellent Washington producer of BDX blends.
