Nose of bing cherries with a hint of cardboard. Palate is still fruit-forward with overripe cherries, sandalwood, and coffee notes. Cardboard is noticeable on the palate, too. Enjoyable, but past it’s sell by date, even though it has been well stored.

Jan 10th, 2020Still young, but has major promise. Great balance of fruit and acidity with tannins to match, this wine shod age beautifully

Rich dark fruits and sweet oak excite the mid palette. The wine finished a touch tart, which detracts from the overall experience. Still excellent.

Aug 12th, 2016Black currant preserves, smoke, rises, violets, black pepper, plums, mint, bay leaf, clove, mint, tobacco, kirsch. Delicious roasted fruit and cocoa on the palette, mixed with earth and surprising acidity. Tannins are fine and well integrated. Give it another two years.
