Cabot Vineyards
Kimberly's Humboldt County Syrah

Meaty gamey earthy. The last bottle from an old stash. Great stuff.

Not as savory as my last Cabot. Still good nonetheless.

Ahh, the Humboldt Gold. Really enjoyable domestic Syrah. Dark fruits present but not sweet or dominating. Tons of savory notes / light smoke. Medium body with plus finish. Fine tannins.

Very tight and muted aromatically, but opened up by the second day with expected dark fruits, smoked notes and touch of spice.

Nose reminds me of sweet tarts. Odd on the palate, sweet tarts there too, with stems, smoke, soap, what?
Damn, now I have to open another bottle to accompany the Caps game, ha!
With some air, more like glue...VA. Drinkable, but VA.
