Kimberly's Humboldt County Syrah

Meaty gamey earthy. The last bottle from an old stash. Great stuff.

Dense black fruits, white pepper, oak, balanced and still going strong!

Smoked bacon, white pepper. . Mmm

Pop n pour with the cayuse. They were clearly different and both spectacular

Corked but still good stuff there

Not as savory as my last Cabot. Still good nonetheless.

Dark fruit, pepper, bacon

Very tight and muted aromatically, but opened up by the second day with expected dark fruits, smoked notes and touch of spice.

Nose reminds me of sweet tarts. Odd on the palate, sweet tarts there too, with stems, smoke, soap, what?

Damn, now I have to open another bottle to accompany the Caps game, ha!

With some air, more like glue...VA. Drinkable, but VA.

Pallet staining but still brilliant with brooding raspberry, eucalyptus, juniper...strongly herbal base with plenty of fruit to balance. Seems to be at peak.
