This wine rolls over your tongue almost as easily as the name rolls off it. Byington. I'd hail this Cab any day and ask the driver to set Santa Cruz control.
Just what you'd expect from my local mountain-people area, not ideal Cab environment with no big fruity Ness, but cherry, leathery leatherness, floral and earthy notes driving this home.

Needs a bit of time to open up. Nice leather aroma w/ hint of vanilla cinnamon. Some nice bright berry flavors on the attack nicely balanced with a rim of moderate tannins. Maybe a bit passed its peak.

1999. Not a big wine. A little old. No more tannins, still taste okay.
