Beast Phinny Hill Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Paired with Bavette steak and chimichurri. Dense purple red, highly extracted pigment. Butter, black currant, leather and wood notes in nose. Wood and seed tannin in finish. Worth aging longer; we opened this a bit too soon.

Drinking on Super Bowl Sunday with Mike and Mary Margaret. So sad we lost! Wine is good but a little tight.

Red fruits. Plenty of tannin structure as well as a strong acidic steak with graphite. Refreshing.

Don't understand all the negativity about this wine. I found it quite drinkable. Cassis and licorice with dark fruits, leather and chewy tannins. Very long finish.

Gees do these age well. Nice balance of fruit still left ok this one. Very tasty.

This is a beautiful wine. So well balanced with a distinct Washington character that is just wonderful on the nose and palate. Thanks once again JR

Nice medium to full bodied cab. Purple color, plenty of dark fruit and tobacco and minor oak. Tanning and acidity is as mostly integrated, good but not quite perfect time to drink. Maybe one more year. Solid value.

What a fantastic wine! So glad we let this one age for a few extra years. Just the right balance of fruit and some subtle pepper. So smooth.

This is probably one of my favorite vintages of this wine. As you can see by the cork, definitely filter this one. I also aerated it as well. Fantastic with steak. It's like buttah on the tongue with that nice green pepper kick at the end. Fabulous.

Wow. Lots of fruit still on this vintage. Very impressive. I would drink soon if you still have it.
