California Pinot Noir

Both taste and nose evoke Welch's grape juice. Nyet, my friend. Nyet.

First impression yuk

Rusty color. Bit of lotion and floral on the nose. Flavor is tart, but it tastes nice. Plenty, plenty tannins. A lot of action for cheap CA Pinot Noir.

Bitter finish

Decent pinot noir, better ones for the price

Ok, but has a bitter finish.

Firs Pinot, very bright, floral and light to drink. Would be a strong candidate for a nice summer wine or sangria base.

You need to let it breathe for longer than the usual red wine. Once you've let it sit for a while it does taste smooth and fruity. Overall a basic Pinot noir. Not particularly impressive.
