Let's put to rest all those questions about whether BC wines can age. This '06 was still big and beautiful.

Another great example of BC Cab Franc. Grown on the Black Sage Bench (literally right beside ours!). Ripe blackberry, cassis, cocoa, vanilla bean, spice. Still has several years left on it.

I have rated this wine before and loved it. Let’s just say that this wine is a prime example of how far the Okanagan wines have come and the reason why I consider it a world class contender. Cheers 🍷🇨🇦

Burrowing Owl Estate Wines have achieved an almost cult status in parts of BC with much excitement in anticipation of a new release. Known more for their Athens, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon's this Merlot deserves notice on its own. With a deep garnet color, a nose of blackberry, black cherry and plum this complex wine delights with smooth layers of vanilla, spices, dark chocolate and hints of sage. If you can find it, this smooth Canadian deserves your attention. Cheers 🇨🇦🍷

This one really did get better with age. It wasn't our intention to hold onto this bottle for 13 years, but it worked out quite nicely. A rich, bold, aromatic South Okanagan red.

Fantastic...deep red..nice acidity. ..beautiful Tannins. Great balance. Deep berries...subtle Oak. Not always available so it was a nice treat. We drank it with burgers and fries 😊
