Bucher Vineyard
Bucher Vineyard Pinot Noir
Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California, USA
Dark, lacking a generous fruit. Enticing but equally perplexing.

Dark red fruit — black cherry and plum — with lingering oak and vanilla. Nice depth. Decanted for four hours. #undergroundceller #coronavino

Feb 3rd, 2021Amazing Pinot. 2015. Cherry notes. Slight spice that disappeared at the end. A favorite. Awesome winery and people too.

Love this wine. Vineyards that have been supplying bugger labels but making great wine themselves.

Nov 4th, 2016Definitely not your light bodied Pinot, this glass is a powerhouse. Strong berry flavors with ripe fruit dominants the palate. I think it needs more bottle aging to tame the aggressiveness. At this point, there are better Pinots at the price point. Willing to try again. Cheers!!
