So much potential with this wine, just needs time. Drank perfect on the 3rd day! Don’t open for another five years.

Wow., just Wow!
I posted this never and don't want to be redundant. Everything I live in a big bold cab and significantly better than the 11 Poetry which did not suck in any way, shape or form!! Enjoy my friends!

07' Buccella Cuvée Katrina Eileen. Moderate sediment. Power & elegance wrapped up in this bottle. As I was decanting this, I could smell it from a foot or so away . This is a beast of a wine, coming off the nose( berries, fresh cut flowers) The palate is BLACK...Black raspberry, black cherry, blackcurrant. Notes of chocolate, tobacco. Silky smooth after an "hour or so of decanting". This couple of hundred case production is worth looking into! It's has another decade.

Wow., everyone at our table was absolutely blown away at the sophistication and crafted brute force of this wine. We hands down thought our next wine was going to be the WOTN but this actually edged the 3rd. You won't believe what it beat!! This was everything we expected it to be. Dark fruit with a long seductive finish and left you wanting just one more sip every time it was done. We just kept begging for more.....good thing I had a Magnum of this! I've said this a million times already but I'll say it one more time: 11 was not that bad if a year. Time has a way of smoothing out rough edges & Great winemakers always find a way to succeed in less than ideal years. Man., am J glad I didn't back off from my purchases in 2011!!! Thank you Bill & Alicia Deem 😍🍷😍

Wine of the night! Wow! Brought by Larry Morris. I thought Caymus SS 2004 was good. This was even better. Must try ... CB

Not bad for an ‘11, but far short of typical quality. Not much depth and one dimensional. Was hoping this tough California vintage would mature into a prince but there isn’t enough raw material for that to happen. Still a drinkable and enjoyable wine although the remaining ‘11’s will be weekday drinks. What to do with the ‘11 Katrina Eileen magnum?? Ah, Somebody is going to get a gift.
