2005 vintage. Young, but so much potential.

I murdered a baby. It's so fresh, so young, so virgin, in a way, yet I still have no regrets. Juicy, concentrated, playful tannins, tons of cherry and violets on the nose and richer, deeper dark fruit and forest on the palate. Giacosa never disappoints.

Tasted immediately after opening undecanted. Redolent with violets cigar ashes smokey. Initially smooth then the tannins reveal themselves. Silky. Beautiful.
