2013 is singing right now. So much mentholated cherry and mint. Perfect texture. Drinking beautifully now.

Expressive nose, silky on the palate with a little bit of grip on the end. Orange peel finish.

Candied cherries, menthol, sandalwood, and minerals. Good structure and softer tannins (I'm guessing bc it's a warmer vintage). Have always loved Brooks wine and their story. The longer it's open the better it is.

A blend of 40+ year-old Pommard and Dijon clone Pinot Noir grown in volcanic soil, the 2012 Brooks Janus offers considerable drinking pleasure for its price point. Sun-warmed raspberries still on the vine, juicy Bing cherries, dust, earth, and field lavender, this heady and aromatic Willamette Valley Pinot recalls warm summer evenings. On the palate, it's supple and fresh, with layers of red and black fruit, and a firm acidic spine. Finishes with a pinch of clove and allspice. ABV 13.2% | Sample

Out of magnum. In a beautiful spot. Savory qualities in addition to fruit. Great wine.

Super good. Took like 3 hours to show what it had. Came alive with such vibrancy. Dances on the palate.
