Not sure why this is called a clairet when it’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and not a rosé? But it’s really fresh, red fruit forward, low on tannins and peppery on the finish. Purplish in color. I can see why it’s labeled “the perfect red” for an all purpose, not fussy crowd-pleaser. Natural, organic.

Not a bad Cabernet Sauvignon at all. Don’t have a ton of experience with Broc Cellars, actually. But rather restrained - in a good way - nice wine.
