10 Years Old Madeira Sercial

Sumptuous but light. Fresh Italian prune plum, ripe date, and toasted walnut. Salted caramel, dark butterscotch, with an almost smoky, mesquite quality. Dry but very liquid. Lingering finish. The acid balance is so good, the wine is very light and energetic. There’s a bitter herbal quality on the long finish. Fantastic example of Sercial!

Wow, totally fabulous. Fairly dry, perfumed, lean, angular and very tart. Walnut skins, orange rind. So complex. But not heavy at all like most Madeira. Beautiful wine.

Light orange; aromas and flavors of roasted nuts, candied orange peel; medium plus acid, medium sweet

Preserved orange, walnut, mushroom stock, ginger. Dry, delicious, a favorite.

Nutty and slightly sweet with great acidity.

Powerful and rich, carmelized nuts, old fashioned fruit, marsdchino cherry and orange zest, just a hint of maple syrup on a dryish satisfying finish 🎉
