Starting to get raisiny here. Wow this is a gorgeous wine.

My first experience with Madeira. Maybe it's an acquired taste. Maybe this wine is awful. Maybe I need to taste more Madeira to make a good comparison. Maybe I'll open the bottle of 20 year old port in the cellar...

Medium sweet, rich, nutty, molasses, burnt caramel. Great stuff!

Burnt toffee, molasses, that nutty, lemony dry nose and round palette. Happy to report, this may linger for the rest of the evening.
