Salty, herbaceous, and nutty. Tart citrus, green apple and bruised apple at the same time. A touch of beeswax mid palate. Light bodied at 12.5%, elevated acidity. Pale straw. Great summer white!

Kind of severe on first night. Tight. Acid and reduction. Much more open on night two. Decent saumur but not as good as I had hoped.

Chenin at it’s best. Tart apple, tart pear, hint of lemon zest, beeswax, crisp and acidic. Very Savennieres like.
