Umpqua Valley Syrah

Really a lovely, pleasant surprise. Maturing (restrained) New World Syrah, balanced and hitting all the right notes. Not my usual lean Sonoma Coast preference, but some days you want a little meat on the bones.

2006 Brandborg Syrah. Still doing well. Dark fruit and smoke in nose and flavor.

Really tasty surprise hit from Oregon. Still super fresh despite 9 years bottle age.
