Pét-Nat Pinot Noir - Portugieser Rosé Blend

Thanksgiving in a glass. En magnum.

Bretty Pet Nat. Reminiscent of a Flanders Red Ale.

mostly pinot noir, strawberry, cranberry notes, dry some funk to it, salty brine, hazelnuts

Thanksgiving pic for the family. 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Portguiser. A little drier then I expected with tart red fruit. Crisp acidity and well balanced. Medium tannins, low alcohol.

A very bretty petty.

Honestly, I didn’t mind too much. There was a also a fun fresh, cherry Dr Pepper thing going on and for me at least brett is the least offensive of the common wine faults—especially in natural wines. In the best of wines/cases it can be pleasant and add character. We can debate this forever but I’ll die on this hill: brett is terroir!

Good stuff - dry, funky, lite fruit - all the things for a good pink pet mat. Not the best we’ve had. Bought at BP.

Bit of VA. A little Brett/funk. High acid. Some red fruits emerge after an hour of air. Not bad if you like this hippie style. Like a 10%abv kombucha

Eh. Basically a sour beer.

Hot day? Look no further. Soft. Fragrant. Bit of funk. But mostly fresh.

Cranberry strawberry soda. Great with burgers and fries.
