This was showing magnificently! Big, bold, fruit, stunning texture and the front, mid and finish (oh my God, the finish!) were spectacular! Just an incredible wine. Note: no, the fact that our winemaker makes this wine had no baring on my notes or rating.

Rich, silky and powerful. The nose offers big notes of dark blue fruits. The palate is all about cassis, blueberry and vanilla with hints of spice. It coats the mouth. There’s acidity but right now it’s overpowered by the tannins. This is a baby but still delicious.

Still a super wine but this one a little young to fully shine. Acidity and tannins front and center now but the future is bright. Needs another 2-3 years to mature.
