‪if a wine could be described as "happy” 😃, it would be Grignolino, a lesser-known grape from #Piedmont, #Italy, that makes wine of great refreshment and affordability. This '14 Braida di Giacomo Bologna “Limonte” spreads the joy in typical #Grignolino fashion, light in body with hints of strawberry and licorice, and ample tanginess to keep you cool 😎 in these warm, waning days of #summer. ☀️ ‬

Strawberry nose, light color like a very light rose, soft, gentle flavor, a little astringent in the mouth, brings out spices in salami very nicely, refreshing

pale red, fruity, strawberry, high acidity and significant tannins, good for appetitive, alcohol a little bit too high

Enjoyable, mineral and a tad dry. Unique. Sort of fruit start that quickly fades away.

A fun wine!
Young, lively with an aromatic nose full of flowers (roses, lillies), strawberry, red cherry. There’s also some tar and resin (a very slight nebbiolo-hint), licorice, aniseed and something reminiscent of amaro.
