North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

Normally this is a so-so cab but with 11 years of age it is a nice drinking wine.

Had to let this one breath a little, came out just a touch tight. Great earthy notes with tart currant and bramble berry.

Fruity and rich.

Second wine wasn’t much better. Ample dark fruit and oak. Low quality, seems like a mass produced Cali Cab with no effort put into it. Medium plus depth.

Great food and venue. I’d be happy to help them improve their wine list :)
