South Australia Shiraz

Blackberry jam, menthol cigarettes, and Twinkie cream. Not my jam but not overblown in any manner.

This was the first Shiraz we reviewed and we will definitely be sampling Shiraz more often as we really enjoyed this bottle. This wine opens with notes of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, with notes of black pepper on the backend. Chris felt the finish wasn't very long, but I thought there was a nice long finish. 13.8% love this! balanced, red fruits

Sage breakfast sausage nose. A bit flabby on the palate.

Cedar, pie spice, cigar tobacco, black pepper, faint hint of green bell pepper, jammy black fruit on the nose. Cranberry, plum, chewy red cherry, juicy mouthfeel with short finish but a bit of smoke and hint of black pepper lingering. Good one for food; should be perfect with pasta marinara or pizza.

Little harsh; drank in 2021; think i will let the other bottle sit for another year or two.

Nice cross between old world and new, and delightfully affordable.

Nice and chill. Well not really it was warm. But it was a chill wine

Menthol, beet root aromas. Candied yams, and chicory and orange marmalade. Very very good.
